Choosing a Green Fireplace
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know,
it's blue, isn't it? Well, I'm not talking about the color of the surround. I'm talking about the inner workings of this type of fireplace and how it will impact

Decorating a Porch for Fall

Advice for Life
The Value of Making Lists Write down the activities as this will make them more concrete. Making lists helps you to prioritize and makes
you think about what you need to do. Writing down your activities forces you to remember them. Having them on paper releases you from having to rely on your memory.
Crossing items off a list always helps you feel better and more productive.
Create a Family Message Center Choose a central location in your home and create a message center there. Many people choose the refrigerator, however it's easy
to wind up with a really messy fridge. Use a bulletin board or the back of a door. Encourage your family to use the message center to post their lists, items needed
from the grocery store and all telephone messages. Keep it current and throw away all old items. Cross off as many items per day as possible without stressing out.
Remember, you made the list. You can always adjust it when necessary.
Use your time wisely. Most small chores can be accomplished in bits and pieces of time. Like while talking on the phone. While sitting at the doctor's office,
you could read a chapter in a good book or pay a bill. In a five minute period, you could: make an appointment, file your nails, water houseplants, make out a party guest list,
order tickets for a concert, sew back a button. Make every minute count.
