Warning to Women
I received the following email supposedly
from the IRS. Do not be fooled. The IRS will write you a letter, not
send you an email. This is a fraud meant to have to submit your Social
Security Number to them. I never give my email address on a tax return, so
how in the world would the IRS know how to reach me by email. The point is,
they wouldn't. So don't be deceived. If you want to contact the IRS, do so
in writing and they will respond in writing. Then you know for sure. Or else
go directly to their website at www.irs.gov.
Never click on a link in an email (we removed the link) and assume you are at the correct place
unless you have gone independently to that website via a search engine and
typed in the web address yourself.
DON'T BE FOOLED INTO RESPONDING - THE FOLLOWING IS BOGUS - THE AMOUNT MIGHT
CHANGE, BUT IT IS A FRAUD EMAIL
